This Rice Krispies ad couldn’t be more appropriate, as Britain huddles under a collective umbrella for another washout of a summer. Kellogg’s are producing Rice Krispie colouring in boxes to keep cooped-up kids occupied. The soundtrack features the unmistakable vocal harmonies of South Africa’s Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Just listen… Celebrate this weather…we complain, but others need and celebrate it. Nothing to do with packaging etc…
I love the music, but really find the advert subversive and worrying – they don’t even need to mention the product any more, it’s all about the packaging.
