The AA go straight for the advertising jugular with this surefire combination of a cute baby, a catchy song, and some (admittedly ropey) lipsync effects in a humorous and sure to be popular TV ad. The lipsync and voice that sings along are provided by a slightly older child – although she’s still just six years old. The song is Proud Mary by Ike and Tina Turner (sometimes credited solely to Tina). Proud Mary was originally a hit for Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969, before Ike and Tina substantially reworked it in 1971. Ike and Tina’s version is available to download on iTunes.

Literally the worst advert on TV at the moment, I physically can’t watch it and have to turn the channel as it’s that annoying. Nearly as bad as the Hive active heating advert song.

I have to turn off the volume and look away the lypsicing kid advert for the AA. Oh my this is so grating on the nerves unbearable alomost. However the Golden Retriver with the lion headress on is amazing , could watch that all day 🙂

Lip-syncing kids singing rock songs is a cool idea, but it’s only as good as the syncing CGI, which in this case SUCKS so bad! I could’ve done a better job on my smartphone!

Just found out it IS Tina, but she’s being sung over by a girl called Kallea McKee and that’s why it sounds so un-Tina like.

This is NOT Tina Turner singing this song! It’s absolutely NOTHING like her! I’ve no idea who it is but I know it’s not Tina!
