This ad cuts together clips from various previous Vauxhall campaigns, and the soundtrack is from Feeder. The Welsh rockers have recently been touring as the Renegades, and earlier this year confusingly released an album as Feeder named Renegades. Pushing the Senses was the title track of Feeder’s 2005 album.
Welsh artist Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo) re-wrote the lyrics to his song “How I’d Live My Life Aka The Bumblebee Song”, featured on this advert. The original version can be found on the album ‘Hello Wave’.
Singer-songwriter Eliza Doolittle has her track “Skinny Genes” used on this magical advert, set in a secret garden. It was released by Parlophone on March 29th 2010.
