Please check it’s not already listed using our search function and the A to Z.

If you still can’t find it, you can post your request in the comments section below, or contact us via:

Tell us the name of the brand or product being advertised and what happens in the ad, and describe the music. If you can remember when and where you saw it that would be useful, too. Best of all, see if you can find the ad on YouTube and post a link.

Please remember we only list UK television adverts, and we don’t usually list TV promos (trailers for upcoming shows) or bumpers (‘sponsored by’ ad breaks), or cinema-only adverts. We can only help with ads that are currently airing on UK TV channels. Also, if you can’t remember what the advert was for then we probably won’t be able to help you. Irrelevant or vague requests won’t be answered and may be removed.

We do try to respond to as many requests as we can, although unfortunately it’s impossible to answer all of them. We do read all of them though, and we’ll do our best to help.

  2. im trying to find/remember a piece of classical music taht featured in a vauxhall car advert from donkeys years ago (somewhere in the 90′s), all i can remember is taht its a string peice. any suggesteions appreciated

    Shows Nat Geo (a lion) Nikita (the programme) and sky movies (Shia la boeuf) (could be transformers )

    Seen on Sky News

    At the end it shows a hd sign then the sky logo with a voice-over of something like “family favourites”

  4. Hi, please tell me who sings the song from the DFS summer sale advert. It sounds a bit like the Ramones but I think it might be a British group. The only lyrics in it are “lets go, lets go, come on come on”

This is the last time I’m trying – in future I’ll use a site that 1) actually gives me some sensible answers (maybe I’d be better off ignoring the rules – it seems to work for most people) and 2) isn’t linked to this Disqus bullshit which DOESN’T WORK. The latest DFS ad. Ramones mixed with Sham 69. Guitar at the end sounds like the Sex Pistols. YouTube and DFS’s own channel no use.

  15. Hi, Nationwide have just started airing their new ‘On Your Side’ advert which has a woman singing ‘Stand By Me’ (originally by Ben E. King) and I really want to know who the singer is please? I can’t find the answer anywhere. Thanks so much

  20. Anybody know the music on the current [June 2012] T4 On the Beach advert? I’ve tried Shazam but the woman doing the voice-over means it doesn’t work.
