The origins of this song go right back to the early 1960s when it was written by Paul Leka, Gary DeCarlo and Dale Frashuer. They released a version under the name ‘Steam’ that was a No.1 hit in the US during 1969. The Bananarama version is more popular in the UK and they had a top ten hit in 1983.
