KFC invites viewers to bring home the weekend in this TV ad, featuring a rollerskating dad picking up a bucket of chicken on his way home from work. The sixties pop deep cut is Five O’Clock World by yodelling US beat group The Vogues. A top five hit in the US in 1965, it was released in the UK in January 1966, but for some reason didn’t make the UK charts. It’s available to download on iTunes.
