In an interesting twist on automotive advertising, the Audi RS 5 Coupe allows its drag racing rival to race ahead along the test track in this TV ad, indicating that the Audi has nothing to prove. The song is interesting, too. It’s Julie London’s version of the lullaby ballad Hushabye Mountain. The song was originally sung by Dick Van Dyke on Robert and Richard Sherman’s memorable soundtrack for the 1968 movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Julie London’s smoky-vocals version was released on her Yummy, Yummy, Yummy album in 1969. It’s available to download on iTunes.
