BBC One’s Christmas 2017 TV ad, titled The Supporting Act, is a charming animated film showing a young girl building up towards a festive dance performance, where her nerves are overcome with the help of her dad as they enjoy a shared moment of a Christmas together. The song is Symphony by Clean Bandit – no strangers to TV Ad Music – with vocals by Zara Larsson. It’s not a very festive choice, but it’s certainly one of the most popular songs of the year.
