Chanel pull out the big guns for this Bleu de Chanel parfum brand film / TV ad, which is directed by Oscar winner Steve McQueen and stars French actor and model Gaspard Ulliel. And while we often hear cover versions of David Bowie songs in TV ads, it’s rare to hear actual David Bowie. So Chanel have done very well to soundtrack this with Bowie’s Starman, from the classic 1972 LP The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars. It’s available to download on iTunes.
