This KFC advert for Christmas 2018 starts with a chicken taking a solitary walk on snow until it comes face to face with a turkey in what would first seem like a duel. The turkey quickly runs away in defeat. The ad then says, “turkey comes and goes, but chicken’s here to stay.” The music in the background is an excerpt from Ennio Morricone’s “The Ecstasy of Gold” released as part of his 1966 album “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Remastered”.
