In this Aldi commercial, British actor Alexander Perkins races past a busy street and jumps over impossible hurdles to catch a bus. As soon as he’s on the bus, one of the passengers comments, “that was amazing,” which Alexander Perkins dismisses and instead excitedly talks about the low prices on products at Aldi. The pop music used in this advert is Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out For a Hero.” The song was used in the 1984 American musical comedy-drama film directed by Herbert Ross titled “Footloose.” It’s available to download on iTunes.
