This Levi’s advert encourages viewers to vote and let their voices be heard. The video shows people from different walks of life waking up and rushing to their voting precinct to fulfill this big responsibility. The video then ends with the slogan “it’s your vote.” The music in the advert is an r&b/soul song titled “We Can’t Sit Down Now” by Joe Tex from his 1969 album “Happy Soul / Buying a Book.” Joe Tex was an American singer and musician who gained success in the 1960s and 1970s with his brand of Southern soul, which mixed the styles of funk, country, gospel, and rhythm and blues.
