This commercial for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé lets you imagine what your 16-year old self would say to you. The 16-year old self of the man in the video comments with disgust on how much he has changed, his boring job, his habits, and his diet. But he takes quite a positive stance on the car he drives. The marketing message is this: it’s the car we have all always dreamt of driving. The music in the video is “C’mon C’mon” by American alternative rock band The Von Bondies, a single they released in 2003. It’s available to download on iTunes.
