The message of this Holiday Inn advert is simple: It’s funny when people get together. The video shows people of all walks of life having a great time together: couples reuniting, friends having a party, families celebrating the holidays, kids playing, and many more. It then ends with this: We’re there, so you can be too. It is their invitation for people to pay their hotels a visit, which are located in many cities across the globe. The music in the background is a piano version of the song “The More We Get Together.” The traditional British folk song and popular children’s song has been recorded multiple times by various artists, the famous of which has been the 1976 recording by Raffi as part of the album “Singable Songs for the Very Young”.
