This Volkswagen advert is in line with the 50th-anniversary celebration of the moon landing this year. 50 years ago, the advert says, people were obsessed with the moon. Today, however, we have a new mission, to protect our planet, the advert continues. Then it lists down all the plans of the brand as a corporate body to help protect the environment such as designing more sustainable cars. The music that plays in the background is the widely recognisable song “Space Oddity” by David Bowie, released in 1969, the same year of the moon landing. It’s available to download on iTunes.
