In their Christmas advert for this year, Stella Artois encourages us to “look beyond the obvious, beyond the parties and the big dinners to find a simple moment. The advert starts with a young man at a Christmas dinner party locking eyes with a woman. He is then called by his dad to do the dishes with him. We are given three versions of the event, each one with the same characters, presumably growing old. We discover at the end of the video that the man and the woman have become a couple. The young man then ends by saying, “thanks for everything, dad.” The music in the advert is “Anytime I Go”, a 2019 single by Aaron Espe. It’s available to download on iTunes.
