Flying books, giant fussball players and horses made out of foam letters? An ad designed to promote Ready Brek’s hallucinogenic properties, perhaps? The music is a version of Ievan Polkka specially recorded for the ad by Finnish singer Anei. It isn’t commercially available, but you can hear it on her MySpace page. The song is a Finnish folk song – the title means “Eva’s Polka”. A 1995 version recorded by the Finnish quartet Loituma became an internet hit after soundtracking a not-very-amusing flash animation called Loituma Girl, also known as Leek Spin, featuring, erm, a girl spinning a leek.
