This pair of TV ads show B&Q employees assembling the perfect garden and kitchen in choreographed style, somewhat misinterpreting the meaning of DIY. The song is Sliced Tomatoes by the Just Brothers, a garage soul dancefloor filler originally released in 1965. Sliced Tomatoes was subsequently sampled in, and formed the basis for, the track Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim, from his 1998 album You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby. (Coincidentally, the current Lloyd’s Bank TV ad also features a song related to that Fatboy slim album.) Sliced Tomatoes by the Just Brothers is available to download on iTunes.
