Why anyone would consider Fairytale of New York a Christmas song is beyond me. The song is about some drunk in a jail cell on Christmas Eve. And that’s it!

“You’re a bum, you’re a punk, you’re an old slut on junk. Lying there almost dead on a drip in that bed. You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot, Happy Christmas your arse I pray God it’s our last”.

Nice lyrics for a Christmas song. Tesco, you should be ashamed to use filth like this during a time of year that is considered a High Holy day for Christians.

AS usual, we are being ripped off by the large supermarkets. My husband visited France last week. The price of cheese there is 1/3 of the price in TESCO. I have noticed that the price of cheese in TESCO this year has at least doubled. The farmers aren’t getting that price increase…..TESCO are just ripping off the consumer in this country.
