Nationwide – Sibling Rivalry

Advert: Nationwide – Sibling Rivalry
Music: Flo & Joan – Sisters

One of a series of ads promoting Nationwide Building Society, this features musical comedy duo Flo and Joan singing a song about sibling rivalry called Sisters. Flo and Joan are sisters, but their real names are Nicola and Rosie Dempsey. They’re originally from Portsmouth, but are currently based in Toronto. Other ads in the series feature Favourite, a song for their mum, Small Small House, about making a house a home, and Chrimbo Limbo, about the post-Christmas lull. You can watch all of them below. All of the songs are original for the ads, and none are available to download, but you can get Flo and Joan’s album Victory Flaps on iTunes.

Awful advert! we switch the sound off every time. its annoying, tuneless and irrelevant. the ad says nothing about the products Nationwide deliver. Could do better.

Obnoxious, infuriatingly annoying tv ad. Flat, boring music. Yet they still keep creatng more of them. One was more than enough. No more please.
